This misprint has a border around the outside so the field isn’t flush with the edge of the frame. That’s it!
If you are following the Lord, everything happening in your life today is the best that could be happening. There is no good thing that he withholds, from those who walk uprightly. Does that mean perfect? No, He never told you to be perfect - Jesus is perfect in our place, we just need to turn to Him.
This print is so incredibly special to me, and I hope it will be to you as well.
Before I was dating my husband, I was (maybe impatiently) hoping to be noticed, and spent a month praying and waiting. We met at a summer camp and it was a Tuesday morning when I heard the rumor that he was interested in another one of the counselors.
I went back to my cabin and got out my Bible and opened it to the Psalms, and I read Psalm 84. Verse 11 stopped me: "For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly." I set my Bible down, painted this piece, and lettered those words across the top. I hung it in my office where I'd be reminded that no matter what I call good - if it were truly good, as long as I am following Him, the Lord would provide it.
It turns out that rumor was just a rumor. Today, that exact painting hangs in our home (which just so happens to be the same camp where we met). It is a special reminder to me of God's faithfulness and how little I know of what He has planned.
I have turned it into a print to be able to share it with your home, in hopes that it serves as the same reminder to you.
This piece is printed in full color on 8x10" cardstock.
