Save with a bundle! This listing is for both The Consider the Wildflowers Worry Box and the 1 Samuel Faithfulness Box.
Both are made of poplar, and measure 5x4x3 on the inside. Each box is made and engraved with Angel's design by a family-owned woodshop in southern Maine. Each kit comes with a 4.25” x 5.5” notepad bearing the same design, each pad with 25 sheets.
Worry: If you’re anything like me, worrying comes as naturally as breathing. Scripture reminds us again and again to not worry. This isn’t because we’re strong enough to handle what comes in this life, but because our Creator is. I designed this Consider the Wildflowers Box as a reminder to trust.
Luke 12:27-28 says: “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you...?” Jesus has promised peace to us if we, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present our requests to Him (Philippians 4:6-7).
This kit is a tool designed to help you battle against those pervasive temptations to fear by giving them over to Christ. As your worries arise: first, pray. Then, write down your fears, and close them in the box. As you are tempted to pick those burdens back up, remember that you have already given them to the Lord.
When you see the box in your home, be reminded ‘how much more he will clothe you.’ As your worry-filled prayers are answered, write down God's faithfulness to keep in your 1 Samuel Box.
1 Samuel 7 chronicles a battle in which the Israelites cry out to the Lord, and He brings them the victory. Immediately afterward, Samuel sets up a stone in remembrance of the Lord’s faithfulness to Israel.
Each time they walked past, they were to remember ‘thus far the Lord has helped us.’ This paper pad is designed to be a place to chronicle the Lord’s faithfulness in your life. The wooden box is to hold all of those moments, and keep them to be read them again year after year calling your attention to the goodness of God. As time goes by, open the box to reflect on the answered prayers, being flooded again and again with His great faithfulness. I pray that as friends and family gather in your home, you would use the box as a testament to share the faithfulness you’ve experienced!
