In the last decade, by God’s grace, I’ve been able to reach tens of thousands of people with my writing and artwork. I honestly cannot fully comprehend that. But, out of all those tens of thousands of people, there are three that matter more to me than anything else in the world - and two of them need their mom. Handstolearn has had an amazing last few years, especially. With that, it has grown to a size that I can’t continue to carry alone - while prioritizing my role as a wife and mom of two young kids. Door after door has closed as I’ve exhausted every avenue of advice and expansion that I’ve tried over the last year and a half. I have come to know that the Lord is calling me to surrender this gift and give it back to Him. I’ve received hundreds of messages over the years of how God has used these pieces to remind you of the Gospel and there’s no way I’d be sitting here today if not for His hand in it all. There’s certainly nothing unique or particularly special about me. God could’ve used anyone to create Handstolearn, and I’m honored that He used me. The Lord doesn’t give us talents and gifts so that we can build a nice stage for ourselves, but so that we can give them back to Him. It was never mine to hold, it’s always belonged to my King. And maybe He will give it back to me down the line, I would absolutely love that! But it will be His doing, and His timing. I have one calling - to be faithful. Thanks for checking in.
